How It All Began
Dreaming Big in a Small Town Salon
Founded in 2014, Fabulous Fur began as a small, 3 groomer operation. Sara Martsching joined the salon in 2016 as a groomer. After 3 years, she was given the opportunity to acquire the budding business, leading to her becoming the salon's owner in September of 2019.

Fast forward to now and the salon has flourished under Sara's leadership, expanding the salon and growing the team to 8 groomers, 3 bathers, and a receptionist! Sara strives to exceed industry standards by providing a fun work environment, benefits to the team, and maintaining a high standard of quality, safety, and cleanliness.

Owner, Stylist
Sara started her grooming career in 2016, quickly working her way towards her goal of being a small business owner in 2019 when she became the owner of Fabulous Fur Pet Salon.

- Certified Canine Esthetician (CCE)
- Pet CPR and First Aid

Jennifer Gill
Front End Manager
Jennifer has been the smile that welcomes our clients since 2018. She has an extensive background in customer service and loves to get to know our canine clients and their adoring owners.

Her favorite breed is the American Pit Bull Terrier!

Tiffany Drastata Croft, CCE, CPG
Stylist
While Tiffany has her degree in large animal care from SHSU, she found her profession amongst our smaller animal friends. Working with strays and rescues, she had a wide variety of skills to bring to the grooming table when she began her training in 2019.

Her favorite breed to groom is any mixed breed!
Sarah Perrin "S.P."
Stylist
Sarah became part of the Fabulous Fur team in early 2024. She graduated from Golden Paws in 2021 after spending 12 years in the veterinary industry. Sarah brings an abundance of small animal experience and insight to the team!

Her favorite breed to groom is the Miniature Schnauzer!
Emily Morgan, PEMF Pracitioner
Stylist
Emily has been a part of the Fabulous Fur team since 2022, has an extensive background working with animals showing livestock, as an equine trainer, a certified PEMF Practitioner, and experience as a grooming assistant for show dogs of multiple breeds.​

Her favorite breed to groom is the Australian Shepherd!
Mia Mattsson, CPG
Operations Manager, Stylist
Mia got her start in the grooming salon here at Fabulous Fur in 2016 as a bather, later training as a groomer. Before professionally grooming, she spent her childhood grooming the family pets.

Mia has the following certifications:
- Certified Professional Groomer (CPG)
- Pet CPR and First Aid.

Her favorite breed to groom is the Poodle!

Christina Routh, CCE, CPG
Salon Trainer, Stylist
Christina leaped into the world of grooming through a bathing position at PetSmart, completing grooming academy in 2017. She moved on to Wiggles and Wags before settling at Fab Fur in 2020. In 2024 she exhibited her expertise in her breed by placing 2nd in her first grooming competition with her Miniature Schnauzer.

- AKC S.A.F.E.
- AKC Advanced S.A.F.E.

Ashley Fuger, CPG
Stylist
Ashley began her grooming career in 2003 when she graduated from Golden Paws grooming academy. She's spent her two decades of grooming working in various salons and even made an appearance in an educational Disney production!

Ashley has the following certifications:
- Certified Professional Groomer (CPG)
- Pet CPR and First Aid

Her favorite breed to groom is the Pug!
Rebecca Stahl, NCMG
Stylist
Rebecca has acquired an impressive portfolio since she began her grooming career in 1995. Not only is she one of the few people in Brazos County who holds the title of Nationally Certified Master Groomer, she is the founding Co-Captain of the IJA State Texas Groom Team, a founding member of the Intellectual Grooming Association, she shows Welsh Terriers and Schipperke, is the groomer for many of the top 10 Spinone Italiano, a Groom Wars finalist, and has a plethora of first place wins in the competition ring.
​
On top of her grooming resume, she is an A&M Graduate (B.S., Class of 2001)!
​
Rebecca has the following certifications:

- Nationally Certified Master Groomer (NCMG)
- Pet Tech and Pet Safe Certified
- Pet CPR Certified
