How It All Began
Dreaming Big in a Small Town Salon
Founded in 2014, Fabulous Fur began as a small, 3 groomer operation. Sara Martsching joined the salon in 2016 as a groomer. After 3 years, she was given the opportunity to acquire the budding business, leading to her becoming the salon's owner in September of 2019.

Fast forward to now and the salon has flourished under Sara's leadership, expanding the salon and growing the team to 8 groomers, 3 bathers, and a receptionist! Sara strives to exceed industry standards by providing a fun work environment, benefits to the team, and maintaining a high standard of quality, safety, and cleanliness.

Sara Martsching, CCE, CPG
Owner, Stylist
Sara started her grooming career in 2016, quickly working her way towards her goal of being a small business owner in 2019 when she became the owner of Fabulous Fur Pet Salon.

Sara has the following certifications:
- Certified Professional Groomer (CPG)
- Certified Canine Esthetician (CCE)
- Pet CPR and First Aid

Her favorite breed to groom is the Westie!
Jennifer Gill
Front End Manager
Jennifer has been the smile that welcomes our clients since 2018. She has an extensive background in customer service and loves to get to know our canine clients and their adoring owners.

Jennifer has the following certifications:

Her favorite breed is the American Pit Bull Terrier!

Tiffany Drastata Croft, CCE, CPG
Stylist
While Tiffany has her degree in large animal care, she found her profession amongst our smaller animal friends. Working with strays and rescues, she had a wide variety of skills to bring to the grooming table when she began her training in 2019.

- Certified Canine Esthetician (CCE)
- Pet CPR and First Aid

Her favorite breed to groom is any mixed breed!
Sarah Fikes
Stylist
Sarah joined the Fab Fur team in 2020 as a bather and has began her grooming apprenticeship in 2023, becoming a fully trained stylist that fall. She expresses her passion for animals through her many skills as a Certified Equine Massage Therapist, horse trainer and breeder, and EJRTCA breeder.

Sarah has the following certifications:
- Pet CPR and First Aid
- AKC S.A.F.E.
- AKC Advanced S.A.F.E.
- Difficult Dog Certification

Her favorite breed to groom is the Jack Russell Terrier!
Emily Morgan, PEMF Pracitioner
Stylist Apprentice
Emily is our newest salon apprentice, working her way to the title of stylist.
​
Emily has been a part of the Fabulous Fur team since 2022, has an extensive background working with animals showing livestock, as an equine trainer, a certified PEMF Practitioner, and experience as a grooming assistant for show dogs of multiple breeds.
​
She will be taking clients starting this fall!
​
Emily has the following certifications:
- Pet CPR and First Aid

Her favorite breed to groom is the Australian Shepherd!
Mia Mattsson, CPG
Operations Manager, Stylist
Mia got her start in the grooming salon here at Fabulous Fur in 2016 as a bather, later training as a groomer. Before professionally grooming, she spent her childhood grooming the family pets.
​
Mia has the following certifications:
- Certified Professional Groomer (CPG)
- Pet CPR and First Aid.

Her favorite breed to groom is the Poodle!

Christina Routh, CCE, CPG
Salon Trainer, Stylist
Christina leaped into the world of grooming through a bathing position at PetSmart, completing grooming academy in 2017. She moved on to Wiggles and Wags before settling at Fab Fur in 2020.

Christina has the following certifications:

- Certified Canine Esthetician (CCE)
- AKC S.A.F.E.
- AKC Advanced S.A.F.E.
- Difficult Dog Certification
- Pet CPR and First Aid

Ashley Fuger
Stylist
Ashley began her grooming career in 2003 when she graduated from Golden Paws grooming academy. She's spent her two decades of grooming working in various salons and even made an appearance in an educational Disney production!

Ashley has the following certifications:
- Pet CPR and First Aid

Her favorite breed to groom is the Pug!
